Medication Management
Whether clients are seeking or continuing medication for their symptoms, the first meeting is dedicated to a thorough assessment. I consider the entire clinical picture and well-being of the client when prescribing medication, as each individual is unique. For people interested in medication reduction or cessation, I can support you with a safe plan for deprescribing.
Supportive Psychotherapy
I incorporate psychoeducation and brief, behavioral interventions into sessions with clients receiving medication management. I utilize components from evidenced-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and harm reduction. My focus is not long term, individual psychotherapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
CBT-I is recommended as first line treatment for insomnia by the American College of Physicians and other professional organizations. It has been shown to be as effective as medication in treating insomnia with longer lasting effects. Whether you are experiencing sleep disruption and looking for a nonpharmacological approach, or if you are currently on sleep medications that you would like to reduce or eliminate, I can equip you with the skills and oversight to achieve your goals.
